Barack Obama!.!.!.because I would like to encourage him not to let all the negative press bother him!. I would want to let him know that if he plays his cards right, he could easily be the best president this country has ever seen thanks to the set up given to him by George Bush!.
I would hand him my wish card which would read, Please Barack:
1) Restore respect between the U!.S!. and the rest of the world!.
2) Return our soldiers from George Bush's useless, unwinable war!.
3) Establish a health care program that is affordable and universal for everyone!.
4) Find a workable cure that is fair to both sides with regard to the immigration issue!.
5) Work with Congress and lets get on the ball with regards to being self-sufficient regarding energy!. Let's find renewable resources and develop the technology to make these ideas work!.
6) Restore faith in our Government!. Be honest with the people and eliminate special interest groups!.
7) Try and reason with our enemies!. We should use every resource available to us before bringing out the cannons like Bush did!. When all else fails, THEN bring out the cannons
8) In the interim, encourage all americans to do their part to conserve energy!. Drive with a lighter foot, downsize if possible, and slow down!. If hydrogen or even better batteries become available we will then be able to expand our horizons!.
9) Let's pay down our enormous debt created by the Bush administration!. China all but owns us as it is!. Raise taxes on the wealthy and leave taxes at present levels for the poor and middle class, or even reduce taxes if possible!. Perhaps the wealthy would be against this but too bad!. No one can convince me that they are going to have a hard time getting by on only $3 million next year, and by many standards that amount is VERY low!. Just ask Debra Messing, Alex Rodriguez, Warren Buffet, Donald Trump, Carl Ichan, Oprah Winfrey and many many others!.
10) Finally Barack!.!.!.Many Americans still think this is the greatest country in the world!. Personally, I think they are delusional!. I think they are riding the wave that was set up many years ago!. This WAS the best country when Roosevelt got done with it!. This WAS the best country when Truman got done with it!. This was the best country even when Clinton got done with it!. But this wave crashed into the shoreline violently since Bush got on that surfboard!. So now we are looking to YOU Mr!. Obama!. For the last 18 months you've been creating quite a windstorm with those flapping jaws of yours!. Well, it's quite likely that soon you will be president!. Show us that it wasn't all hot air!. Make us the best in the world again Mr!. Obama!. And if you REALLY want to give us Americans something to be proud of!.!.!. Bring Bush, and Cheney up on charges of crimes against humanity, and if found guilty, they should be punished as prescribed by law!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
