Being BRITISH is about driving in a GERMAN car to an IRISH pub for a BELGIUM beer!. Then on the way to your home grabbing an INDIAN curry or a TURKISH keebab to sit on a SWEDISH sofa and watching U!.S!.A shows on a JAPANESE tv!. But most of all being suspicious of anything foreign!. Oh and only in Britain can you get a pizza delivered to your home faster than an ambulance!. Only in BRITAIN do banks leave both doors open and chain pens to the counter!. also super markets make sick people walk to the back of the store for perscriptions whilst healthy people get their cigarettes at the front of the shop!.

quite right indeed, modern day britain has many people born here of differnet ethnic backgrounds - and not just native white european descendents who have lived here for centuries!.
Am I british and proud !? there isn't much get to patriotic about living in England these days, i mean be honest!. The days of the british empire are long gone, and everything people were proud of back then is questionable today!.
Imperialism shone up until the start of ww2, and eventualy post ww2 era saw the collapse of the empire!.
id be proud to be british if we tackled domestic issues properly and efficiently, and looked after our own hard working citizens first and foremost as opposed to appeasing illegal immigrants and asylum seekers!.
