Hi, I 'm from Malta and after having read your answers I would like to clarify some things!.!. we have changed currency this year and have adopted EURO!. Another thing is that I think this place is great from young ppl especially in Summer!. Maybe the person who said that its good for families and for quiet ppl didn't know where to look for!!. because we have nice weather here, on Fri, Sat and Sun there are these open air clubs where you can go dancing the night away or for just drinks!. There is also this area near St!. Julians which is called Paceville!. Both in summer and winter its packed with young ppl having fun all through the weekend!. Yes, i've been to Malta before!. It's realy beautiful!. It has some really great scenery!. You should check out Valetta and Medina for some historical buildings!. Seliema has a street called the strand, it has lots of stores if your looking to shop!. also, go to the beach on the island of Gozo, its fantastic!. The only problem with Malta is the dollar/maltese lira conversion!. Last time I went it was roughly 4 dollars for 1 lira, so its pretty expensive!. But you can find great deals!. if you're gonna be here at around the 25th of june, you can go to the Isle of Mtv - for FREE!!!! it will be staged in malta for the second time running, with artists such as one republic, enrique iglesias, the kooks, lady gaga and n!.e!.r!.d, together with dj's to dance the whole night long!. the week preceeding the events is packed with activities you might also want to attend!.

I have and i loved it, it depends what kind of holiday you want, its nice for families and quiet people, i wouldnt recommend it if you love clubbing but it is a nice place to go, with a lot to do!.
