Fart profusely!. Just kidding, I tend to be a rather direct person so I'd probably involve myself in something that seemed really relevant to the situation and try to shine!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I give myself attention!. I do something that makes me happy!. Usually I'll read my favorite books, have some ice cream, go swimming, or dance!.
If it's attention from someone else you're wanting (parents!? teachers!?), then you'll have a little more trouble getting it!. I'm not much of an athelete, so most of the attention I received from my parents or teachers were over good grades!. I studied, asked for extra credit, had tutoring, whatever it took to make the grade!. I took home all A's one semester and was the happy recipient of attention for weeks!. An added benefit was receiving similar grades in college due to all of my added study skills!
also, find an activity you can do well and enjoy doing!. I was the only one of my family in chorus, and mom came to all my concerts and performances, even when she thought that the music would be boring!.
If you feel your parents are ignoring you, talk to them!. Maybe something's bugging them and they're having a hard time thinking of other things!. If they really are, talk to another person you trust!. Friends, a favorite teacher, a guidance counselor, a priest or pastor!.!.!.there are people in the community for you!. You're not on your own!.
