I KNOW! omg, now you're gonna be sorry you got me started! i mean, i HATE today's modern music, i absolutely HATE it! and the rap (you can't spell crap without rap!) just influences stupid kids to be even stupider and the boys wear their pants practically to their knees!. it's stupid! as far as i'm concerned, the music is mostly the same- it all sucks!
of course, Paul McCartney's modern music still rocks! and i love the Beatles, and i like 60s and 70s music, some 80s too!. i consider myself lucky that i have a smart enough mind to like the real stuff, instead of the modern crap which sucks!.
Basically, i'm a fan of REAL rock and REAL music with REAL meaning!.!.!.

Yeah most popular music today is pretty bad!. Although there are still a lot of good bands out there that don't get enough attention!. I'm really getting into this Josh Ritter guy, he reminds me of an early Bob Dylan!. Clever lyrics, nice simple guitar and harmonica!. Good stuff!. But I'd have to say that my favourite music comes from the 60's and 70's!. Although I'm also partial to the music of the 20's and 30's!. The golden age of radio!.!.!. The last few years have been horrendous, where music is concerned!.
No one has done anything knew!. All bands from each genre sound the same!.
I can barely tell apart from most of the bands in the "indie" genre, and emo is just as bad!.
