It means Live the life or Long live life in Spanish and was seen by Chris Martin in a painting of watermelons of a famous artist Frida Kahao who was dying of cancer , but since the cover is a painting by Delacroix that represents Lady Liberty of the July Revolution in France(French Revolution!.!.I know there were many), I believe that he's managed to do a ecletic take on life from different cultures and perspectives!. Spanish title also popular with Ricky Martin,French Revolution protrayal for the CD cover, and Jerusalem and Roman mentioned in the song!. I myself don't think so much about George Bush or Napoleon, or even America or France as much as I think about England when I hear it!.!.I think this song is about a former King of England!. I think that there are a lot of way to interpret this song!. I guess I would say that he's saying how his life used to be great, he had everything he needed, and he "ruled the world"!. But then it fell apart!. Like the lyrics "Now in the morning I sleep alone, sweep the streets I used to own"!.

first time I saw the video I heard it (was in the other room) thought it was U2 as I find the orchestration to be similar!. I now understand why a friend of mine likes Coldplay so much!. (but my fave English bands are Sting, the Police, Radiohead + the Clash)Www@Enter-QA@Com
