Do you agree that repeat "false alarm" police offenders should have to!

Question: Do you agree that repeat "false alarm" police offenders should have to pay a fine!? see details below
It's started in Kannapolis!. But other cities are taking a notice!. If you make a false alarm call 3 times in a row you can be fined up to $500!. It takes up Officers time when they can be aswering serious crimes and they can stop believing in calls coming from certain adresses when they are called there repeatedly!. What is your take on this new twist!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Most certainly, i think you would be rather annoyed if you had a genuine "call out" alarm only to discover that it was delayed for some time due to an idiot having what they consider as "Fun"!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes - False alarms cost money and time!. Often they are called in by children (of all ages) that are bored!. If a fine is charged - maybe the situation will be monitored by a "responsible" adult!. I just do not like the possibility that a real 911 emergency may have to wait - because the equipment has already been dispatched to a "false" alarm!. That's when "funny" turns nasty!. ?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't like it!. Nobody should have to hesitate about calling 9-1-1 because it might be not a big enough emergency and they have to worry about getting a fine!. And wouldn't you feel bad if a number was thought to be a "false alarm" number and then the person dies in a fire because this time it was for real!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Sometimes they do, where I am from if the fire department has to show up for a false alarm they write you a summons!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
