Yep!. I think that people question silence because they know you are thinking and not talking about what you are thinking and they are curious what you are thinking about that you are quiet!. Silence makes most people nervous!. My boyfriend is a big offender of "silence questioning"!. Ha ha!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
You know, I usually silence when dealing with close and much loved persons!. These people never question my silences because they know!. They can interpret clearly!. Sometimes my silences are more clear than my talking to them!.

Yes !.!.!. because I TEND to think things through (and be very respectful/considerate of others -- so I tend to LISTEN first patiently) !.!.!.
And !.!. I do sometimes get questioned about my 'silence' !.!.!. (and one person who had diagnosed ADD even asked me about this! Thought I was 'zoning' out like they did and getting distracted)!.
