Question: Do you stop for Market Reasearchers!?
If you are stopped in the street, telephoned or have someone come to your door to ask you questions for market research purposes, do you answer them!? What are you thoughts on this!?
I personally do if I have the time, as I think that my opinions are worthy of being listened to, and that my input may lead to a better product which I will later go on to use!.

Living in London you stop noticing people who try to stop you in the street, when you cant walk more than a hundred meters without four different people for different groups trying to stop you it gets annoying!. I don't stop, don't even make eye contact, if I can I try to have my iPod on also!.

Stopped in the street - I tell them I'm going to call 911!.
Called by them - This is really fun, I answer the phone and SCREAAAAAAAAAM into it and hang up!.
Knock on the door - THE BEST ONE! When they knock I run around the back of my house and stand in the bushes making bird noises while they wait for someone to answer the door!. Then while they are walking away I scream "We don't want any!" and go back inside!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i did once for my own bank, i told them when i call i am often being offered services i am not interested in, i really ephasised its a problem and a waste of my phone money

Never!.It's pretty annoying when you get phone calls night after night and they hang up without speaking, or in town when you just want to get things done, it's like running a gauntlet!. I say no to all of these people!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Like you, I will if I have the time, say, during weekend!. But lots of researchers like to do it during peak hours of workdays where we just can't take that 10-15 minutes for the survey or questionaires!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
No i dont like the way they hunt you down and pounce, it creeps me out!. One ran after me down the street once, until i escaped into the nearest shop!. True story!Www@Enter-QA@Com
