How come all of the planets are spherical?!

the spinning motion rounds them outWww@Enter-QA@Com

In a word - Gravity!. All Matter has a natural attraction to other matter!. When floating free in space if two pieces of matter come close enough together they will clump together!. As more and more matter is added to the clump it forms a sphere because there is no other significant forces acting on the matter!.

Small bodies without enough gravity are irregular in shape!. But once it gets big enough, gravity demands equilibrium and you have a sphere!.

You can see this in miniature mode with water drops!. Water is held together by cohesion and surface tension rather than gravity, but the effect is the same!. A falling water drop forms a sphere unless some other force act upon it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
