Well tomorrow is the big day lol and if you've had or have braces I would really like it if you answer these questions =]
How long until your teeth really start to hurt!?
Do they let you choose what color rubber bands you want!?
Did the braces make your teeth look smaller or larger!?
And what are good color combinations!?

I just got my braces off a couple of months ago!.
My teeth started to hurt a couple hours after they put them in!. They also hurt while they were working on them but not as much!.
The dentist let you choose colors (if you have the right type of braces!. Some braces don't allow colors!.) unfortunately my mother didn't!. Which is why I don't know good color combinations!. But don't get white!. It stains very badly!. So I've heard!.
The pain will subside in 3 days!. All of my friends' teeth hurt for exactly 3 days and then they didn't have any pain!. Each time they tighten the brackets, change the wire, etc!. it will hurt for several hours and then you'll be fine!.
Alot of people say you can't eat solid food for a couple of days but I guess everybody's different, cause I ate a hamburger right after!.

Usually they'll hurt the rest of the day after you get your braces on, and every time you get new colors, and maybe a little the next day!. But then after you get your braces on, it'll take a couple of days where it'll hurt to eat, and then you'll be fine!.

Almost anything but blue and green and red and pink!. You could also ask the people there what they think will look good!.

They start to hurt right after - sorry for scaring you :( - and it last about a day or two, but once you get used to it, you won't even notice it, like, say, the foruth or fifth time you have it tightened!. Just eat a lot of soup and ice cream while it hurts - trust me, it really does hurt that much the first few times!.!.!.

Personally, I just went with clear and silver because I didn't want them to be too noticeable!. I think that getting color combinations based on the season is cute, i!.e!., red&green for Christmas; red, pink, white (in any 2 combinations) for Valentine's; green for St!. Pat's; orange, yellow, blue (no combination) for summer; silver, blue for winter; pink, light green for spring!.

they hurt the worst a few days after they are put on, after that i would say it takes a little over a week for the pain to completely go away (not to scare you or anything)
for some types of braces, you can choose the colors!. Others (like mine) have no rubber bands on them!. and yes they will let you choose!.
I think they make your teeth look smaller, but your mouth looks bigger!. sorry, just my opinion!.!.!.

your teeth are going to hurt when they start to move, or when they put new bands on!. you might even be sore the day you get them, just because they are messing around!. yes, most of the time you can pick your colors!. I didn't really notice a change in the appearance of the size, but I think that would depend on the colors you pick!.!. if you pick neon green and neon pink then people's attention is automatically going to be drawn to your mouth!.
The really big deal!.!.!.!. when you get the new bands!.!.!. for about 3 days stick with softer foods!.!. no steak, chops!.!. you're going to be sore and the chewing, especially on meat will irritate!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

My cousin got blue ones that turned a really icky shade of green after a few days, so I'd take that into account as well!.

for me, my braces really hurt the first time for the first 2 days!. then it got a little better, and after a week, it didn't hurt!. afterwards, when they changed them each month, it hurt a little bit for a day or 2, but the pain soon faded away!. yes, they let you choose whatever color you want!. not too sure about the last 2, sorry!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
for me it only really hurt when they were putting the rings around the back molars!.!.!. cause it would scratch against the teeth!.!.!. and that just feels weird!.!.!. but when the put the others on the other teeth it didnt' really hurt!.!.!.

my teeth started to hurt after about fifteen minutes!. take some pain killers and eat ice pops or ice cubes and it will feel loadss better

erm i dont think they made a difference to the size, they made them straight ;-)
hmm i dont know, i know someone who had bright pink and bright green which looked amazing! but its not for everyone lol, it stood out quite alot :-)

your teeth start hurting right away, mine were so bad that I made my dad go to the store to buy me pain medicine that night, yes they let you choose the color every single visit, they don't change the size of your teeth, a good color combo is pink and yellow( summery)Www@Enter-QA@Com
a couple of minutes in your teeth hurt!.!. but pain killers help the pain and wax helps so they dont rub on the insides of your mouth and cut
