The only true "built-in" meaning of life, is to survive to "child-bearing age," have children, raise them up to child-bearing age, and on and on it goes!.!.!.
But!.!.!.
Ever since mankind invented "civilization & culture," we have collectively "agreed" that there should be more to life than that!.!.!.
But that "agreement" is a "self-imposed" one, and in no way "overrides" our "natural selection DNA" protocyl to continue the species at any cost!.!.!.
The overwhelming evidence for this, is that we become able to "reproduce" long before we are "optimally ready" to have kids in a responsible civilized manner!.!.!.
Our "animalistic" reproductive drives are so powerful, well!.!.!.ask anyone!.!.!.when two humans get sexually aroused, it is so powerful, it often overrides our "civilized" intellect, to the point we suddenly say "to heck with birth control," we're doing THIS, and our responsiblity for any children we produce at that moment be damned!.!.!.
Maybe one out of a million couples actually "plans" to have kids, even in our modern world, and the reason there is 7 billions people on the planet is!.!.!.
If nature gave full control to reproduction to our "intellect," we would not be a "successful lifeform!.!.!."
Because in the "true light of day," even though babies and kids are "very cool" once we have them, we DO NOT engage in sex for the conscious reason to reproduce!.!.!.
We do it because of our mutual love and horniness for each other!.!.!.
The "baby thing" is simply a "side effect" of our built-in passion for each other, so!.!.!.a billion years of evolution resulted in a "successful reproduction strategy" that being!.!.!.that "sex" is so powerfully "pleasurable," it overrides any "logical reason" we might have for NOT producing children!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

That would be the literal definition!. I prefer to think the meaning of life is to be happy!. I'm having a hard time taking my own advice though!.!.!.
