Well, I hear ya and can get down with that!.
No one has ever had respect for the elderly because they think they don't matter and cannot contribute to society anymore!.
We are sitting ducks and people would rather run over us than to help us cross the road!.
Does not bode well for society as a whole!.
There are, however societies that revere the elderly and thank them for the contributions they have made in the world and ask for their wisdom and guidance, unfortunately the society that we live in does not do that!. Keep on fighting the good fight!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

it seems no one has respect for anyone anymore!. not for the elderly, not for law enforcement and not for each other!. i don't think parents are teaching their kids things like our parents taught us!. maybe because in most households both parents have to work or there is just a single parent and they just don't have the time or energy!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

because the young ones are more open minded, have more common sense, and don't live sheltered lives (a lot of the elderly haven't deserved it)Www@Enter-QA@Com
I'm not sure why!. Some people do treat the elderly with respect but too many people don't treat anyone with respect!. Perhaps some people think acting that way makes them better than other people!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
