I suffer from emetophobia (fear of throwing up)!. It's pretty generalized, so my avoidances include anything from dining out to flying in a plane, cruising on the ocean, taking a new medicine for the first few times, getting the flu (makes for a fun wintertime), and so many more I can't begin to list them!.
Yeah, I'd pretty much rather be stabbed or shot than to throw up!. But then, that's what makes it a phobia!.!.!. the unrealistic bit!.
