I am gonna buy an Ipod for listening to podcasts and learning my academic lessons!.But I am scared because many folks in my social circle and any websites are saying that using Ipods will make one deaf in the long run just because we use ear pads! which is very close to ears!!

they say that ipods make you go deaf BUT only if you listen to it loudly!.!.!. if you listen to it softley you will be fine

use different ear phones then, or use head phones!.
