You give him a shoulder to cry on and it's heatly for him to cry if he keeps everything inside one day he will burst open with anger :P then that will lead to other issues but talk to him and find out why he's crying :/ hold him close and tell him everthing will be fine :]

Then i know what ever he's going through must be very painful!.
Depending on who he is to me, i'll probably just hold him until he has calmed down and if he needs to talk i'll lend him and ear and give advice if needed!.

I allow him to take his time doing it! If appropriate I'll ask him what he is crying about!. I don't think there is anything wrong in men crying or whining as a woman would at times! It's best to find out the reason!. It may be very valid for tears to be shed!.
