I do not care for alcoholics functioning or otherwise so I would probably be rather rude to him/her, you know because they are low-lifes in my book!.

Oh hell yeah I would!. But you, I mean he, would have to get all the chores done on my list before I bought you , him, the alcohol!. here's the list:
Write my Foundations of Business final
Take my Algebra Final
(Both of these have to have passing grades)
Bath the kids
Clean their bedroom
Vacuum
Scrub the toilets
Mop the house
Do the laundry
Wash dishes
Rake the yard
and Wash the vehicles!.
You can have a break and watch soap operas if there is time!

I would ask him why he wants to work for alchohol!. If he said that he needed it, I would then ask him why he wants to waste his life!. If he said that he didn't want to be addicted, I would say that he doesn't have to be!. All he (or you, I can't really tell) needs is Jesus!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
