They used to say the same thing about Dobermans and Rottwielers, but those two breeds are actually very smart and great family dogs, they're really friendly, but the key is the handler!. Pit bulls can make excellent pets, even for families, but it all depends on the handler!. If the person who owns the dog and trains it, doesn't know what they are doing, obviously the dog is gonna be screwed up, no matter what breed it is, if it's not properly socialized and trained, then it's going to be dangerous, even border collies and golden retrievers can be viscious in the wrong hands (believe me I've seen it), it's all about the owners!. So my answer is: No they should not be illegal or destroyed, people need to smart up!. Maybe stupid people shouldn't be allowed to own dogs!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
You have it right,the only reason we hear more about Pit Bulls is because when they do attack they do more damage!. The fact is I think the dog that accounts for the largest number of bites compared to its population is like a poodle or something!.Those things are just nasty tempered!.
Most Pit Bulls I've ever seen are big babies,and they will protect their family against anything!. But the problem is every crackhead and Thug on Earth bought them,abused the heck out of them and then when their psychotic dog attacked someone everybody says,"See Pit Bulls are vicious"!.
They're awesome dogs,though when I get my next dog I want something bigger,seriously thinking about a Mastiff!.

The owners should be fined or something if something happens, because obviously, they didnt train them properly if the dogs are going to act that way!. I live in Toronto, Ontario and we just had a Pit Bull genocide!. Because the cops here are useless and gang violence is out of control, the amazing political and legal system we have in place has blamed Pit Bulls for all the attacks that have happened!. Turn a blind eye to the problem you know you can't solve and blame the dog!. Seems to be the way it's done here today!. So it's illegal to own one now!. Which really sucked for me at the time as I had three!. I had to give them to a friend of mine two provinces over who lives on a farm!. Broke my heart!. I loved my girls!. Most loyal and best behaved members of the family I've ever had!.
It was pretty funny!. When the Premier was in the process of creating the law, animal right people stood before him with a series of pictures of dogs and asked him to point out the breed he was to deem to death!. He couldn't tell the difference between such a "dangerous and lethal" dog and any other!.
I am honestly ashamed to live here and this for other reason, I am leaving!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Pit bulls are not bad dogs, but they are VERY attractive to bad dog owners!. I work in an animal hospital, and 99% of stupid people who come in have chosen a pit bull for a pet!. I feel soooo sorry for pit bull puppies, because they're very likely to be sold to people who'll tie them out in the back yard on a chain big enough to pull a truck!.
And pit bull owners decline pain medication when their dogs are hurt more often than not!.!.!.!.because they think their dogs are "tough"!. Sometimes I think they should be outlawed or heavy regulated for their own good!. They just very rarely seem to end up in good homes!.

Pit bulls can be aggressive, but so can any breed! Just take care of your pets, love them, and keep them secure so they don't have a chance run freely and bite!
I own a half pit bull mix!. He's actually really grumpy and aggressive (just born that way) but I take extra good care of him, keep him trained, well fed and walked!. He's a good dog, he's just got "emotional problems", haha!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

pit bulls are only agressive if they aren't trained properly or are trained in a way to be aggressive i think their should be some guide lines but that is the same with any pet you have to treat them right and give them a good lifeWww@Enter-QA@Com
