They probably could but why would they want to when they can probably get a free new one when they sign up for service!. More likely they will just use your number and account so you will have to pay for the calls and service!. If it has really been stolen, contact the service provider and get them to change your number over to a new phone!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
no cuz when my parents bought my phone this guy from verizon wireless had to look at the number in my phone to activate it so if the person change the number all u have to do to track him is tell verizon wirless the number that is in ur phone so they will know the number and the new address

If your phone was stolen all you have to do is call your service provider and have your phone shut off so whoever took it cant use it and then you'd have to get a new phone and switch your number to that new phone and you're good!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
