Question: Have you ever had a Racist thought ( Be Honest)!?
Okay i was just watching the discovery channel yesterday and i saw this guy keep messing with this huge snake bare handed!. I thought to myself "man white people are crazy, you will NEVER catch a damn black guy doing sh*t like that , talking about lets get a close up on the snake's fangs"!. Im not ashamed for admitting this!. Im not a racist a i have a couple of white friends who also think of stereotypes!. I think its ok to wonder about it, as long as you dont strongly generalize people!. What about you guys !? Have you ever had any racist thoughts about asians, blcaks, hispanics, etc etc !?Www@Enter-QA@Com

We all think in sterotypes!. We can't help it!. Face it, if you are getting approached by a black guy, with the white beater tee-shirt, pants around his knees, hat on sideways, in the parking lot at night, your mind jumps to a sterotype!. Same thing if you are driving in Mississippi and a guy in overall's, number 3 tee shirt, hat on backwards, get's out of a pick up and approaches you!.
Maybe I'm a racist, but I don't think people are racists because they think in a sterotype!. I think the defining line for a racist is when you ACT on a sterotype, or put someone at a disadvantage or advantage based on race!.
If you do not hire someone because he is black,,,,, racist!.
If you hire someone because he is black,,,,racist!. (you put the other race canidates at a disadvantage based on race)
If you don't vote for a person because they are black,,,,racist!.
If you do vote for a person because they are black,,,,racist!.
We are destined to remain racist as long as we are afraid to confront our fears based on sterotypes!. Additionally, as long as we continue to allow our government to sort and catagorize people based on race,,,,, we are destined to have a racist society!.
People listen to the retoric from politicians that one group is more deserving or more disadvantaged than another group!. Then they suggest that we will have equal results between groups if they are voted into office!. Like sheep, we listen to this retoric because we want to believe that equal results are possible when mandated by government!. The logic is flawed!. Equal oppertunity can be effected by regulation and law,,,, but results is more about the individual person's commitment to a goal!.
Am I a racist,,,,, yes!. If you define racist as thinking in sterotypes, telling a joke based on sterotypes, etc!. If you define it as preventing someone from achieving their goal, because they are a different race than me,,,, no,,,, I'm not a racist!. I'm a capitolist!.!.!.!.!. I don't care what color a person is,,,,as long as can make me green,,,, I'm happy, he's hired!.

Yes, I have!. Anyone who says they haven't is a liar!. When I am watching tv and I hear something about a bear attack or something like that, the first thing I think is "they must be white!." But certain things I hear make me say "they must be black!." But I would never disrespect someone because of the color of their skin!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
im sure everybody has, its just human!.!. if we dont like someone we automatically become racist if they are different colour!. its not that you are a racist person though!.

somtimes i stereotype people, not just because of nationality but also like chavs and stuff, and i feel bad about it!. i'm not racist, i try not to judge people until i know them, but it just happens (atleast i'm not like some people whod say it out loud though)Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes but I always try to give each individual reasonable doubts, stereotyping is wrong and irritating but our society is built on fear more than love!. I'm trying my best to treat everyone as good and as bad according to that person's values and characters regardless of race!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
