1) Canadians like to put vinegar on their french fries!. The first time I went to Canada, I was surprised to see a vinegar bottle next to ketchup at the restaurant!
2)There are some palm trees on the southern part of Vancouver Island!.
3)The world's largest shopping mall is in Edmonton!.
4)The world's tallest free-standing structure, the CN tower, is in Toronto!.
5)The population of Canada is relatively small-32 million!. Yet, Canada is the world's second largest country in land area!.(Russia is first!.)!.
6)Canada is an officially bilingual country-French and English!.
7)Nunavut, Canada's newest territory, was formed from the eastern half of the Northwest Territories in 1999 so the native Inuit people could have more autonomy in their affairs!.
8)Trivial Pursuit was invented in Canada!.
9)Despite Canada's reputation as being very cold, much of the country does provide a lot of productive farmland!. Wheat, apples, and grapes are some crops grown in Canada!.
