1)because people are not open or are not aware of what they expect from their partner!. when they do, they do not communicate their expectations!.
2)because people are not willing to fulfill others expectations!. maybe because they do not realize what others expect because others might not be aware of what they expect or do not communicate their expectation!. or maybe because they themselves are going through the first reason!.

people are experiencing love for what it is (practical) rather than what they grew up expecting (fantasy)!. the issue is being able to identify and comprehend this!.

Not because the divorce rate is high, as divorcing is not an accident, its a descision!. Id say its mostly because this has become a generation of whores (male and female) so the question becomes: Why would you marry that!? Virgin!? whats that!? Its like the 1960s all over again!.
