I text message, but I don't use text speak if I can help it!. I can't stand it, so I usually type out full words & sentences!. Granted, I don't text much - I think I had a total of 17 texts last month!.!.!.
I do use lol, though, because I don't know any way of typing that out - "laughing out loud" just looks/sounds weird!.
