Question: Messed up job interview!?
I am not sure if I really messed up at my job interview!.
It happened this way!.
The panel asked me, "Why should we take you for this job!?"
I said, "Well, beggars can't be choosers, so give job!!"
and then I smiled thinking it was a joke, but none of the people in the panel smiled!. I don't know how they took it!.!.!.

you said!.!.beggars can be choosers!.!.that measn!.!.you are calling them a beggar and that dont have a choice to hire anyone else other than you!.!.!.
that's totally wrong!
You should have said something like!.!.!.!."coz i have everything that will fit the job profile and i believe that i will be able to add value to your organization"!. Or!.!.!.!.!.you could have also said " coz i know you wont regret it!"
Dont crack jokes during an interview!.!.an interview is a very serious and important session and they are not going to hire you if you have a good sense of humor!.!.
An interview is the time for you to showcase your skills in a confident and beneficial kind of way!.!.the interviewer should get that feeling that if i hire this guy!.!.!.i am going to benefit!
And the question "why shuld i hire you!?" is a very critical question!.!.
I feel that you dont have alot of experience in giving interviews!.!.which is not your fault and everyone makes mistakes!.!.!.so its alright!.!.!.you learn from your mistakes!.!.!.so dont feel bad if this job goes out of your hand!. There will always be another job waiting for you!.!.!.just make sure that you take interviews more seriously!.
My advice:
1) Read articles about frequntly asked questions in an interview!.!.
2) Prepare your answers to those questions
3) Practice them!.!.you should not sound rehearsed
