I have a funny story @ that poster
It was displayed in the flashy foyer of the firm of financial consultants for whom I worked, as telecanvasser in Colwyn Bay, for @ 3/4 months
Till the partners were declare bankrupt!
What did a wag write on that poster that said, "The answer is yes: now, what's the question!?"
"Er !.!. can we have pay cheques that don't bounce, please!?"
LOL
Believe it or not, that was one of 2 part time telecanvasser jobs I had @ the time, just 5 mins' walk apart
The other led to my being trained as a 'business consultant'
Let's say it was a kinda short course for such an impressive-sounding role in the global market place
LOL
Anyway, the course ended on the Friday - (this is a clue to length of 'intensive training')
So I turn up on Monday to start work as this supposed 'BC'
What do I find!?
The 2 partners who owned da biz had been arrested on da Sat
& charged with fraud
One's name was Purves
We kinda pronounced it slightly differently that day >>>
as in !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. da course of justice!
Ya cud say I had a Wales of a time, eh!?
