Question: Skiing vs!. Snowboarding question!! some insight please!
I downhill skiied for the first time last winter, and absolutely loved it!. i took one lesson, where i learned the basics and went in the chair lift to a beginner "green" slope, and skiied down that several times!. i learned a little bit about turning, but i didn't go as far as to use poles!.
i definitely want to try skiing again this winter, and advance in it, but i'd also really like to try snowboarding!. would it be better to advance further in skiing before i tried snowboarding!? also, is it possible to become a skiier (or snowboarder) if i only can currently do it during winter breaks (and have to travel to get to a mountain)!?

just this last witer i took up snowboarding
snowboarding is different but i really like it a lot!.
It is a different feeling then skiing
I would either continue with skiing until you get okay and then just snowboaring or start snowboarding and ski once you get the feel for snowboarind and choice which one you like better

if you go more than once a week for either skiing or snowboarding you can get good but its going to take more than one winter!. I had gone skiing a few times and i tried snowboarding then!. i think skiing is easier just because your balancing straightforward, not like on a snowboard where you stand to one side!.!.!.plus i broke my wrist snowboarding, but i wasn't very good!. just be careful!Www@Enter-QA@Com
your best bet is to stick with skiing!. you have already learned the basics and changing to snowboarding might just confuse you as it is different!.
