ok so im going into highschool this year and my bus stop is like !.4 miles away or something!. the walk is through courts which are town houses so theres people around although its like 6 in the morning!. u obviously can't see the bus stop from my house!. ok so my mom want to walk me to the bus stop! how embarrassing is that!? do u think she should let me walk myself to the bus stop!? im going into highschool!. i told her i would text her once i got there if she wanted!.!.!.!.!.!.!. oh yeah she also offered to hide and walk far behind me but how embarrassing is that!. also i don't know if anyone from my neighborhood is going to the school im going to yet cause its like a technical school but u still get a bus!. thanks for ur answers! ill pick a best answer =)Www@Enter-QA@Com

Don't let her come!. Try telling her you'll call/text as soon as you reach there!. That's super lame if you're Mom walks you there!. also your bus people will figure it out even if she walks a billion steps behind you!. i did let her walk to the bus stop which was down the street and around

I don't want to be mean, but your mom is weird!. I think your idea of just texting her would be fine!. Just tell her upfront that you don't want to be embarrassed and that you will be fine walking there yourself!. Or you could ask her to drive you near the bus stop and walk the remaining distance!. If you do either of these, I guarantee that you won't be embarrassed!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
it is kind of silly, but your mom just wants to make sure youre safe!.!. maybe come up with a compromise!.!. like the first week or month of school let her walk with you or behind you [whichever] and then like let her trust that youre okay and then after that tell her she needs to trust you and try going by yourself!. dont forget to text her when you get to the bus! she'd probably be worried sick if you dontWww@Enter-QA@Com

I guess it is a little embarrassing but remember that your mom just wants you to be safe because she loves you!. try to see where she's coming from and tell her gently "mom, I understand your concern but maybe it's time for you to let me go on my own!."

she should definately let go a little bit! Maybe let her go the first day and take as many pictures as her heart desires and let her see if other people will be with u!!? Then after that the txting thing would probably be okay if ur gona b by urself but if someone else will be there with u explain to her that ur gona b a highschooler and u need to become a little more independent!!
