The very first toy I bought was a "beat me up" doll of Adolf Hitler!.!.!.
It was a doll made of stuffed material, much like a rag doll but it's head was able to come off when one slapped it about a bit!.
It was made that way, and we girls could slap it around some until it's Adolf Hitler head came off, feeling so much the victor of the war when it was still quite an undecided contest!.

Before that, i used small carrots!.!.washed, peeled and placed in hot water before hand!.

I washed and peeled slowly, then placed the small carrot gently into the hot water, to prepare him for what lay ahead lol
