Question: Who do you think is to blame for some youths being out of control !?
Do you blame the parents or society !? And do you think there could be a better way of punishing them !?

Parents!
I'm a teacher and I've been to many meetings where parents blame friends, the area they live, the school, the police, teachers, having nothing to do, etc, etc!.
However, in every single case (and I'm not kidding), the parent has never taken any responsibility for their own child's behaviour!. It's always someone else's fault!
Punishment!? Keep fining the parents of under 16's until they keep their children under control!.
Over 16's, lock them up! If they still can't behave, then double the jail sentence the next time, and the next time, and the next time!
That way they will either learn to behave or spend their lives in prison!. Either way suits me!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Politicians, educators and parents are all to blame!. Politicians for making all the daft rules in society; educators for removing all the competition from schooling (especially in sport); parents for allowing the other two to tell them how to rear their children!. As for punishment, surely we should be examining ways to re-educate and reclaim!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

The parents in the first instance for not having any control over the kids!.!.However, given that here in Britain if you dare to chastise a child you can have them taken off you for abusing them or being cruel to them!.!.So that does'nt help the parents!.
The schools also for not helping teach right from wrong in many cases!.!.Again the system fails to allow proper punishments any more!.
Then we have the Police!.!.They cannot act as the Home O ffice is tying their hands and making stupid laws that allow kids only to be reprimanded rather than punished for their behaviour!.!.
Then we move onto the local councils!.!.They simply have no money left as regulations now priopitise putting other smaller issues first!.!.
What ll of the above have failed to remember is this generation of kids will be our future leaders potentially!.!.But they need a start first and it is not being given to them!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

theres a lot of factors!.
yes, we can all blame the parents, i know some parents who did the best that they could do, but their children failed at school, because they met the wrong crowd of people!. influence from friends come into it!.
i also admit i have known some parents who treat their children like crap, and the kids turned out to be really loving!. its not ALWAYS the parents fault, granted, if you treat your child like crap, your child will not have the skills required to be anything other than how he has been treated!. but there are exceptions, not every kid from a broken home will turn out bad!.
also movies to a certain extent, no matter what we do kids will still find a way to watch at some point in their lives!. i know i did, i remember my mother telling me i was not allowed to watch the film "scum" but one night when she was in bed asleep i watched it!.
also, video games!. theres a lot of violence, swearing, etc but they still play them!.
im not saying im against video games/movies etc, but i do think it is a factor!.

You could blame the parents but you can also blame the kid/teen who is out of contol!. Basically what im trying to say is its not only the parents fault!. punishment never really works, but maybe if they are really out of control you could send them to boarding school and take thier cell away!. idk!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
i do think the parents some don't know what there doing or give a crap about what time they come in i was a single mum for 12 years and it's always them what get the blame when it's not true some dad's beat there children up come home drunk abuse the kids but it's always us that get the blunt end there needs to be more for children to do and not just on the streets no wonder they drink smoke as what is there to do in this country they go to a sportscentere for what a few hours but it all costs money my son was only sat on a stool in a shop yesterday and one of the workers walked right up to him and told him to stand and put the stool back i went off my head and balled in her face he is disabled and needed a sit down for 5Min'ss my face was blood red with temper they just class everyone the same not all kids are bad i give credit when it's due and there are some nice younger kids around some old ones can be just as nasty i wish there was more for kids to do and maybe thegovernmentt would not be in such a messWww@Enter-QA@Com
parents have gotten where they don't spend enough time with their kids!.!.!.also the kids are allowed to do whatever!.!.!.given everything and don't have to be held accountable for their actions!.!.!.!.as a parent of 7 kids!.!.!.my kids all had curfews!.!.!.grades came first!.!.!.etc!.!.!.i know they weren't real happy with me then but now they are all successful people with families of their own!.!.!.bottom line is unless they become a millionaire there will always be someone setting the rules!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
first and foremost it is the parents, but when the parents lose control then society must take over, obviously in your case that has not happened and that is a shame, good people like you should not have to live like that, prisoners in your own home to a bunch of anti social thugs!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Parents mainly !.!.!.!. but also a certain amount of peer pressure but that could also be parental fault I guess !.!.!. councils for making every bit of green around the place a no ball game zone here !.!.!. enforced too !.!. sadly it means the lil saps get bored and burn things !.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
