To go to like Great Clips/ Supercuts and get layers done on hair!?
Because my friend went to Great Clips and got layers done and it turned out great!.!.!.but im kind of worried because i dont want them to butcher my hair!.!.!.

Not a bad idea, if you can arrange to have your firend's stylist do your hair as well!.
I'm one of the guys who views his hair as something that needs cut about once a month, so you can guess I'm not real particular!. I've gone to Great Clips, Cost Cutters, Fantastic Sam's, all those places like that!.!.!.!.I choose a place based on where I happen to be driving past when I decide the hair needs cut!.
Anyway, I've gotten great hair cuts at all those places!.!.!.and I've also gotten haircuts that even I could tell were bad!.!.!.!.but if can get a stylist whom you know has done well in the past, you should be quite pleased!.

well there are some people in there that like just got out of beauty school so are still not experienced enough yet but there are some people in the that are really good at giving hair cuts so ya it just depends on the person who is doing it but if i were you i would ask to get it done by someone who has done it for a long time and gives great hair cuts and everyone likes so ya good luck and i hope that is turns out great!!! I have had bad experiences with these type of shops!. I don't think everyone has but I have!. The shop requires a set time limit on each client so anything specialized or any tweaking is not within the time allowance!.
Doing basic layers may be OK but you have to know exactly what you want!. It is best to take photo clippings from a hair mag!.

its not a bad idea, but it REALLY REALLY matters WHO THERE CUTS YOUR HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ask your friend who did hers and see if you can get the same person!. i got my layers there and it turned out great, but other times it has been lopsided, uneven and awful!!!!!!! it all deends on who you get!. The problem with places like that are that they are normally hairdressers just starting their careers!. They also cut hair dry even thoughh some hairdressers have trouble cutting it that way!. My mom owns her own salon and had to work there and hated it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

NO NO NO! they screwed up my moms hair soo bad they are the worst they have people who just got out or are in salon school!.which means they are not so "great" yet so i do not recommend them :)Www@Enter-QA@Com
No, as long as you have an experienced hair stylist!.!.!. Make sure you bring a picture showing which specific hair style you want!.
