When I was about 18, a guy on a mall parking lot showed me a bunch of sparkling watches still in their cases with price tags on them!. I liked a Hamilton model he had, which was marked $200 and he said you can have it for $50!. I only had $20 and he gave me the watch!
It was marked self winding, but that never worked!. A year or so later I saw the same guy pulling the scam and he approached me with same story!. I said "No thanks, I already have one of those" and I showed him!. He said "Yeah, that's one of mine!. Costs me $2"!. This was about 1970!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
