I have yes!. I did not win!.
I had a lawyer explain that the reason there are company internal appeal procedures and ombudsmen in place at some big companies is so as to create an internal complaint procedure in order that people can't take the company to court without going through the internal procedure first!.
Some companies just have those types of things there, but then automatically confirm all their decisions through such appeal procedures and ombudsmen to make them more legitimate!.
I wouldn't think that Yahoo does this though!. Yahoo seems like an honest and good company, so I would say that they are reading their appeals overy very, very carefully and deliberating them internally before they hand down a ruling!. I think that they even have internal lawyers who give a final opinion and then sign off on them before finally coming to a decision!.
Yahoo's appeal procedure is highly, highly effective and represents a model for appeal procedures all across the western hemisphere!.
But you have to be careful what you appeal!. You have to know the community guidelines inside and out, and be ready to argue highly technical legal points!. If you just say, "I want an appeal", they will probably dismiss it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
