Marriage is a lifelong relationship, which involves commitment and adjustment in all possible situations!.
For the marriage to work, theres no proper formula, it is completely destined!.
But for the case of love against arranged, I believe that marriage is a relationship not just between the husband and the wife, but also a start of a new relation between 2 families!.
But no marriage can go on without Love in it,
so I believe it should always be a love-c-u-m-arranged , or arranged-c-u-m-love marriage,
either you fall in love and then the 2 families agree or else you meet through the 2 families meeting for the arranged marriage purpose and then fall in love!.!.!.
But theres no particular time to fall in love!.!.!.!. it strikes you unknowingly and it may even happen after marriage!.

Ours was a love but subsequently we turned it into an arranged one!. With the blessings of elders, one will feel more grounded and more accountable to both the families involved!. Whenever u will be through a rough patch, u will feel surrounded by your extended family!.
