It's a sign of insecurity!. If a person is secure in their relationship and the love the other person has for them, they will have complete trust in that person and have no reason to doubt anything they do or to be jealous!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I think jealousy in terms of it's relation to romantic partners is more a sign of possessiveness!. The need to have to control a partner even if it is in a subtle way!.
The jealousy displayed by a female towards her female friend that she may feel is more attractive I think falls under the insecurity umbrella!.
In both cases I think each trait can be intermingled in some way!. It takes more then insecurity to ignite the type of intense jealously that some people are capable of!.

If someone has something that the other person doesn't have, some people will say they don't deserve it and that they should have it!.
Or if one's "popular" and has everything, they will be jealous!.

I think that jealousy is just a sign of what your personality is like!. That is how that person chooses to act based on lots of different things most likely: morals, the way they were raised, life experiences!.!.!.etc!.!.!.I believe both insecure and very confident people are jealous!.!.!.and sometimes the jealous person truly cares and sometimes they don't care much at all!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
