The other day I heard something on the tv about kissing cousins!. I hadn't really heard of it before so I asked my mother what the deal was!. She said it's like when two cousins might kiss each other when they meet or whatever!.
She said it's like myself and ______ ,my cousin!.
This has been bugging me since ! ____ and I are close, great friends but I don't see him all that often and he's not the kiss hello type!. If I'm lucky I might get a hug!.!.!.or a handshake, for my 21st !!

I always thought it meant two cousins who are really close but they don't actually kiss each other!. My cousin and I were really close growing up and my grandma used to call us that too!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
Since it was your mother talking I'm sure she mean't just a quick peck upon meeting , that being said I've had cousin's that were just cousin's that were step kids of an aunt or uncle and not blood related which in that case a kiss may be permissible though perhaps frowned upon and not worth it !.Www@Enter-QA@Com
i think that is a term for cousins that arent really related like they are related by marriage, like ok, if my gramma had a boyfriend who had a son his sons daughter would be my kissing cousin, get it!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
