Sugar, I won't lie - it sucks like hell - and yes it cuts to the core - and when it happens it makes us feel foolish and blame ourself for not seeing it sooner!.
I have been through too many times it and each times stings worse than the last!.
However, you can not blame yourself - You know how much you mean to me and you must STAND TALL Sweetheart! Don't let them kick you while you are down!. Do not let that person get the satisfaction of knowing just how hurt you are - because in the end they don't care!.
I know that may sound harsh - but you know I have always always been totally honest with you and I just don't want you to be blind -sided again!.
And if for some god forsaken reason they want to apologize - stand your ground - you do not need someone like that in your life!.
You are hurt because you are a caring, loving and wonderful person and you would never treat anyone that you considered a friend like that!.
So take that love you have in your heart and soul and give it back to yourself!. Never ever let someone else control your emotions - it just gives them more power!.
Like Amanda said, What goes around comes around!. You may not get the satisfaction of seeing it - but believe me Karma works in mysterious ways!.

Yes I have quite a few times , and it hurt but I picked myself up and chalked it down to experience !. And more importantly I used it as a lesson so it wouldn't happen again!. Whoever did that to you should feel ashamed of what they have done!. As the saying goes, what goes around comes around!. he didnt think i knew!.!.!.!.!.so he came to visit and i had hot water on the stove!.!.!.!.!.he said!.!.!.!.!." wat are ya cookin for me cuz im starving"!.!.!.!.
i told him to come and look and wen he did!.!.!.!.!.!.i dumped the boiling water all over him and he ran out of the house yelling and swearing!!!

that's too bad, I'm sorry to hear that!. I have been a few times in my life!. I guess it beats living cynically!. But you're right, it sucks!. Some of the worst were family; mother, dad's girlfriend, my best friend!.
