I tend to star serious, well-thought out questions regardless of the subject matter!. In real life I act similarly, complimenting people when they do intelligent, well-reasoned things, or have valid questions answerable only by opinion or ones where they recognize that they simply need more data!. Anyone actively trying to learn something new is deserving of praise!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Lots of them are just sucking up to the asker, so that they'll get Best Answer (or so they think) and get more points, so that they can ask more stupid questions like "Do you think my hair looks better like this!?"!. These people generally stay at Level 1, maybe 2!.
