Definiely owing someone something - I try never to put myself in that situation - I can borrow a dollar say for a drink or something and it drives me crazy until i pay it back!.
I have a heart of gold - and am have been taken advantage of in people "borrowing" money and not paying it back!. However, I learned not to be an ATM machine!. So, it really has to tug at thost heart strrings!. My Niece things I am her personal ATM machine - had to put a stop to that!.

Owing someone something for sure!. I cannot rest and feel good, when I know I owe someone!. Being it just a few bucks!
In the other hand, when someone owe me something, I usually forget it after a while (depending on how big is the owing!)!.
