Question: What would this message being saying!?
I want to tell the man I'm in love with how I feel about him before it's too late!. I want it to be simple and obvious that I'm an option if he wants to pursue me so here's what I'm thinking about saying!. We're close friends, both virgins and in our mid twenties!.
So here goes and tell me what to leave out and why and what the message tells you
"Hey I just want to tell you that I value our friendship!. I don't want anything to change right now but I need to tell you something!. I love you more than any other guy in my life!. You're special to me and always will be!. I just want you to know that if you are ready and you want to pursue me then go right right ahead!. I'm not really good at interpreting signs so when you do want me can you tell me bluntly!? No matter what happens I will always and still do love you, respect you and care about you as a friend!. I am more than happy to stay friends with you if that's what you want!. So don't let what I just told you change our great friendship unless you want something more!.
So if you want to hold my hand, kiss me on the cheek, hug me or whatever I won't take it as more than friends unless you TELL me otherwise!."

Definitely have this conversation with him in person!. Shorten it up a bit!. I would go "we've always been honest with each other and I want to sustain our fantastic friendship but I want you to know I have real feelings for you and I hope you feel the same!. That's a very nice message, but you need to save it, and tell most of that to him in person!. I know you fear rejection, we all do, but it's way too personal for a message!. Just give him a message that you'd like to talk to him over coffee and then tell him how you feel in person!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

the bit where you say "if you are ready and you want to pursue me then go right right ahead" that's a really weird thing to say!. Don't say that!. I wouldn't like that if you said that to me!. You would scare me off!. If I want to pursue you I would then feel weird about pursuing you!. If I didn't want to pursue you then I would not want to pursue you even more!.
