In the ancient civilization, they thought that the entire universe just consist of a flat land around them, and covered by a dome above them!.
Galileo became a center of controversy against the church when he claimed that Earth was NOT the center of the universe, and that Earth actually rotates around the Sun!.
Later, scientist found that our Sun is a not so special star afterall, which rotats around the center of a galaxy which turns out to be a not so special galaxy
So what can we learn here!? We humans have the tendency to think ourself as the center of the universe, as in, we are special and everything around us makes us special, and many rejects the idea that life exist elsewhere in the universe
