I guess people say that because they assume all your wild, searching days for the meaning of life has finally been resolved for you!.You have experienced most of the trials and tribulations from your younger years and your feet are more securely planted in knowing what is best for you and who you really are, than ever before!. By this time, most have had their children and have had to be the teachers and guidance counselors for them, and in the process have learned more themselves!. Now is the time to really enjoy life, if that is possible, depending on the circumstances, and move forward in life with much more ease than it took to reach 40! Www@Enter-QA@Com
Life begins at awareness of who you are,where you have come from and where you are going!.40 is probably the halfway point of a persons life!.The children have left home or grown up and become self-sufficient and time is now available!.The consumerist materialistic society we have been tricked into believing we are living in requires people now to spend their disposable income on the superficiality of the mundanity of life in the vacum of existence and to forget the onset of senility,cancer ,sexual dysfunction and general ennui!.!.!.thus we see the rise of the Super40's!.However life has a great surprise in store for us all which we refuse!.!.!.well most of us!.!.!.to acknowledge and that is!.!.!. death!.
It is better to remain eternally young in all you do but also require wisdom along the way to see that 40 is just another number and if you think it you become it!.I'm 47 a week today yet feel no older than I was at 17 which was a magical time for me in 1978 for many reasons and the other day my daughter and I went for a takeaway and the Lady who took my order asked me if my daughter was my sister and my daughter is 17!.Which made us both laugh but I did not allow my ego to taste a compliment probably from someone who may need an appointment with the Optician!.So I think we can shine out from within and we can learn that at an early age and although it is good to see people in their 40's living out a dream or a new breath of life for some it is just an excuse to revert back to the time when they did not sow their wildest oats and in the end they look foolish like I would if I went out with my son at 17 to do what he will be doing with his friends!.!.!.!.!. God willing!.Some women though are conned into this and end up appearing tragic which is a shame because it's usually a man who sets this off and from that a lot of misery ensues!.!.!.like families torn apart and divorce!.Life is relative to the eternal Now that we all live regardless of our age!. well i will say my life is just begining as i never had one before well not for a very long time,so i agree with some of the others!. things can happen in life,and you lose all sense of direction,it has taken me this long to realise,and learn,but i have, so for that reason for me,everyone is different with different circumstances,but whatever they are age is but a number,and 40 isnt that old,i know it sounds old to yous who are younger,i used to feel the same myself but before you know it,it can creep up on you in no time at all!.and it does!.so for that reason!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

This is an old saying and the reason that they said this was that by the time you had reached this age, chances were that your children had grown up and left home, so you had more time to do what pleased you and not them!. also you would normally have more money to yourself because your mortgage would be less!. But now you are still stuck with the kids and the bills don't seem to shrink!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
