No idea, but when I go to this one site that I watch shows on almost EVERYTHING is replaced by those boxes, then it asks me to install a language pack to translate it into English or whatever and whenever I try to install it it says, (insert CD), and its like WHAT THE ****! you should have mentioned I needed a CD before I installed half of the files!!! ha ha ANYWAY, I think that those boxes just replace hiragana, katakana, and kanji because the computer does not have the "language pack" to display the characters!. It is ******* bull ****!! Well anyway this may or may not be why your seeing these, but as for how to type them, beats me, but I wouldn't if I could because they drive INSANE!! Www@Enter-QA@Com
i know how you would do that but i dont know how specifically it would have to be an alt number combo but there are thousands of them i know there are a bunch of chinese/japanese charachters if you press alt with a combination of numbers dont remember though

go to google, click on language tools, paste it on the translate text box, switch the language to japanese to english and press translate!. to get the same characters type the english word and translate from english to japanese!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
