Question: Is it hard to stay or feel the same after you have been taken advantage of!?
I'm a young fashion designer in florida I worked really hard and was flourishing with orders,shows and interviews last year!.!.that has all stopped cause i stop producing garments!.!.!. a performer stole some of my outfits and didn't give me credit for making them and I feel like my art was stolen and now i see him wearing my outfits in pic's from his stage show!.!.!.it makes me feel stupid cause i should have taken him to court!.!.!.+ I got involved with a woman whom was putting on a big fashion show that fell through on her part and it made my name look bad cause she put my name on everything and told all the media sponsors that I was part of it!.!.!.Is the fashion industry ruthless ,how can I make it and start up again without letting shady people effect me and without getting walked over!.!.!.I'm really heart broken about this ,I want to do this!.!.!.I have many many people waiting for my new collection which I have barely started cause I'm down and not as excited about the people whom i will being dealing with in this industry anymore!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Kel Bee it sounds like you already have fans - please do it for them and everything will be better - I have fashion designer friends here in Canada and it is HELL for them, no opportunities AT ALL - it sucks what happened to you, there are many horrible people out there!.!. especially in your field!.!. but please do not give up!. Put your head up high, realize things were out of your control!. Imagine just how successful you will be!! Another designer is wearing your stuff!! Even if he stole it this is something HUGE!! You are BETTER than him!! This means you will more than likely kick his a** out of the water and be more successful!. Please don't fade away because of this!.!.!. you are very lucky beleive it or not!.!. if I compare with some of my friends who are also stars but have no opportunities!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Write into a magazine and say you want to do an article to warn wannabe designers about the fashion industry!. Then you can tell your side of the story, get sympathy and win back people!. Ignore the first answer, they are been a dick!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
