Either A) discuss the situation and realize that you both are "wrong" in some respects but that you both are also "right" in some respects and are fighting over the same issues so it's better to be allies than enemies !.!.!.!.!.!. OR B) find a common enemy, (someone that you both hate) and join together to ruin them!.
Choice B is what MOST people do as Choice A requires both parties to exercise wisdom and common sense as well as be introspective and humble, willing to admit his/her own faults and make amends letting go of silly issues that are of little importance in the grand scheme of things!.
My preference is choice A!. and No i do not bribe them, with anything!. Besides, not everyone eats or likes ice cream, so that would be a waste of time!.
