Timely question!. I don't worry about the future in the sense of dying and the afterlife--because Jesus Christ has settled that for me!.
I'm not worrying about getting old, I just don't want to be a grumpy old man, and I still want to help others and make people laugh!. I hit 50 this year and I am concerned for my future health--but I don't worry about it--I want to get in shape (not like a 30 year old), but reasonable for 50!. My finances are not great, with little money set aside for retirement, but it will work out!.
My problem is not the future--my problem is worry!. It robs life in the present of joy!. It's been said "Don't dwell on the past; don't worry about the future; but enjoy the present moment you are experiencing!." So ultimately, I don't worry about the future--I have some concerns!. But I worry about becoming preoccupied with worrying and missing out on so much of life!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Sometimes, for I'm already an Empty-Nesting SINGLE Retiree !.!. and I know that sooner or later !.!. I am going to move back closer to family (because they worry about their OLDER (and ONLY!) sister living alone -- and I know that I'd like to have help there when I need some (there is nothing like family -- for they will ALWAYS be there for me)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
