My late husband use to tell this story about being a boy and going to bed one night and having this action figure doll start moving and walking!. It was not a battery operated toy and so it was an impossibility!. He freaked and ran and told his dad!. His dad said he was just dreaming or imagining it and sent him back to his room!. He climbed back into his bed and it happened again!. It took about 3 times of his running to tell his dad before his dad finally went into his room and got the doll and then smashed it with a hammer and threw it in the trash!. YES!!! My kid had a talking Rex doll (from toy story) and it started talking one day in a very slow deep voice (batteries dying I guess) saying "were!.!.!.you!.!.!.scared" and other random phrases!. It was very creepy!. To make matters worse I couldn't get the dang back of the toy off to get the batteries out so I had to hide it in the closet until the batteries totally died out!. Yes, one night I heard this moaning in the hall!. I thought one of the kids was sick!. I peeked out there - no one there, kids were all sleeping!. Went back to bed!. Moan! Chills went down my spine!. I went out again and stayed there until the next moan!. In the corner was a Teletubbie doll that was at the end of its battery life!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
