Do you find church/ cathedrals dark, cold and lifeless?!

They can feel that way sometimes!.

I prefer to go outside in nature and spend time reflecting then to sit in a church!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Not our church!. We have a blast!. But in the past, a lot of those churches and gothic cathedrals were purposefully meant to be dark and foreboding in order to take the focus off of the secular earthly realm and put it where it belongs which is in the ecumenical heavenly realm!. A lot of the interiors have beautiful pictures, stain glass, and icons!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

That's far too broad of a generalization to answer!.!.!.as each and every church/temple has its own character, maintenance, etc!.!.!. God is everywhere, but should certainly be recognized within His 'special domain'!.!.!.however, given the fact that 'religions' per se have become such BIG BUSINESS!.!.!.and seem determined to 'control' rather than lead!.!.!.I sometimes wonder whether or not even God visits the insides of churches anymore!.!.!. I go regularly and sense His Presence within His people!.!.!.but, within His churches/temples!.!.!.I have serious doubts!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i love how quiet and peaceful churches and cathedrals are!. it makes you feel closer to God!. the quiet and peacefulness is an escape from the crazy and loud world outside!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
