You evidently referring to the Stihl TS-420 gasoline-powered circular saw, that uses a 14-inch diamond blade!. It costs about $ 2,000!. The replacement blade alone is about $ 150!.
In the hands of a competent highway laborer, the "quickie saw" can cut through concrete pavement, parapets, columns, etc!., to a depth of 3 inches or more, like it was soft butter!.
Hence the name "quickie!." A "quickie saw!."
