Question: Whats your opinion on this myspace/email thing about non-whites being racists!?
on myspace this thing has been going around in bullitens and blogs and how white people get called out for being racists but other races can say what they want!. im curious to see opinions of different people on this!. not looking for ignorant comments, just true opinions on it!. here it is:
You call me "Cracker", "Honkey", "Whitey", "Gringo" and you think it's OK!. !.!.!.But when I call you Kike, Towelhead, WOP, Camel Jockey, ****, ****** or Chink you call me a racist!. -You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you, so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live!? -You have the United ***** College Fund!. -You have Martin Luther King Day!. -You have Black History Month!. -You have Cesar Chavez Day!. -You have Yom Hashoah -You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi -You have the NAACP!. -You have BET!. -If we had WET(white entertainment television) !.!.!.we'd be racist!. -If we had a White Pride Day!.!.!. you would call us racist!. -If we had white history month!.!.!. we'd be racist!. -If we had an organization for only whites to "advance" our lives!.!.!. we'd be racist!. -If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships!.!.!.you know we'd be racist!. -In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights!. If we marched for our race and rights!.!.!.you would call us racist!. -Did you know that some high school students decided to make a club for only the white students because the other ethnicities had them!.!.!. they all got sent to court for being racist but the african-american, Latino, and Asia clubs were not even questioned!. -You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it!. The kids don't understand what racism was like!.
The US (I'm assuming that's where the author is) has been run by white men since its beginning, and whites have had the upper hand since this country was established!.
In today's world, the new generation of black kids (and I'm only talking about them) doesn't know what real racism is!. They just know that 'it's bad for whites to call me this, but I can call my own race that'!. I suppose that they think that they're righteous in saying words that are meant to put whites down because of their history!. I think that last bit is BS because more than half of the country's population of colored kids, well black kids anyway, don't even know that much about "their history"!. They don't even know WHY it's acceptable for them to call each other ***** or when it became acceptable!.
As for the new kids that are white, most of them aren't growing up with white supremacy and racism being force fed down their throats!. They grow up around people of other races, and they learn that it's offensive to others if they say certain things (and it seems to me that terms like ****** are only "offensive" to kids when Caucasians say it)!. This person has a reason to be confused!. He/She obviously doesn't know what life was like here forty years ago!. Which isn't surprising because he or she is just a kid!.
edit: I just saw the bit about pride!. We say we're proud because our parents and our grandparents and their parents, etc!., were told by the media that they were utter **** for decades!. And many people believed that! I don't feel like going into specifics, but there was a major change of perspective!. 'Colored' folks were suddenly proud of their race instead of hateful of their fate!. It was passed down to the kids!.!.!.many of who honestly need some education on the matter of racism!.

I'm asian, my parents are pakistani!. I totally agree with the article!. I also strongly disagree with what is called positive discrimination, that is the idea that other ethinicities are chosen over white people in, for example, employment; it's still discrimination against someone because of their skin colour and it's wrong!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I have often wondered this myself - did you know that within the next 10 years - That the Caucasian race will be the minority!. But can we say anything - NO! - Why - because we would be racist then as you stated above!.

I don't believe in black history month; I believe in celebrating culture, not race!.

Sounds like the ramblings of a racist person!. I am not racist, my family is of different ethnic backgrounds and I have heard this all before!. Things gets really complicated when race is involved!. I think all of this stems from long ago when white pride was associated with kkk and the killing of non-whites!. We do tend to live in the past and that is a big problem for society today!. People who are not white are struggling to belong in a society that is mostly white ruled!. You may not agree with me, but it is what it is!. So a group wants to be recognized a month out of a year or have a day or whatever!. The dream is to have equality everyday and as a society, we are not just at that point!. Things are changing, but at a slow pace!. We can all do our part by treating everyone the way we want to be treated and hopefully reduce racism so people won't have to write emails like the one above!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
