Maybe, but I think it is more from lack of punishment!. Starting in the home and extending to the justice system!. People nowadays have no morals or compassion for others, or even animals for that matter!. People are selfish and uncaring!. I feel that if the world practiced more corporal punishment, people might actually think twice before they do something stupid!.
Then again, I have no religious back ground, and what i have learned about religion in school seems like a lot of crap!. But really, i think there are just a lot of evil people!.

I think it is the INTOLERANCE of the extreme religious towards others views, not the fact that we have a diversity to choose from!. All religions’ basic principals seem to me to be good at their core, it’s the extremist pervert them!. That includes Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, atheists, etc!.
I don’t think any religion condones the thinking “My God is better than your God, so I am going to blow up a school bus of your kids”, but sure enough it happens!.
